A Little Bit About Us (and Why It’s Really All About You)
Eric Battersby here, founder and President of Mightier Pen Marketing, and I just want to take a quick moment to let you see who you’ll work with here, and why I think you’ll be really glad you did.
I started Mightier Pen in 2012, just as I was leaving IBM after nearly twenty years of corporate world by day, independent film and activism world by night. I put many, many hours into my first company, Hollywood 27 Productions, creating a film about racism in Chicago.
Shortly after finishing that project, I shifted into the marketing world, initially just in an effort to market our film, PYRITE. That quickly morphed into a passion for marketing itself, and I soon after created Mightier Pen.

The big shift allowed me to start using my talents as a writer more (we created Chocolate Connoisseur Magazine at the same time), all while honing my skills in web design, SEO marketing, etc. as well.
I also moved my film efforts into the nonprofit world, where I started Change the World Films, not long after the dawn of Mightier Pen.
The end result? A powerhouse marketing & more option for my small client list (which I kept only as referrals until 2023!), with a strong stable of options in Marketing, Web Design, Writing, Research, and of course, Video Production & Editing.
Mightier Pen has essentially grown into a one-stop shop to turbo boost businesses, all while still focusing on making the world a better place at the same time.
